Strike a Pose, My Friends, we are in VOGUE {madonna}
Turn up the Tunes and stay a while
First, let me welcome all my new followers.
Also, a quick Monday morning Hello to those who have been around my garden for a while.
This one is for you
I'm dedicating this to my
CIRCLE OF FRIENDS
This was so much fun to work on.
But, I will admit that it took a bit longer than a Ripple.
But, the color, oh how I love the colors.
Even the White ICE CREAM was a treat to work with when adding the border.
I already know where my Friends {tv show theme} Blanket is going to live.
But, I first have to do some work in the room before I show you.
Because, with this WHITE, it needs to be on display.
This in not one that can be picked up and used by The ScootMan, if you know what I mean.
So for now, it's all folded up and ready to store.
The thing that cracks me up about taking pictures is the length we will go to for the shot.
I'm usually not one to climb up on chairs.
But.....
I always like to take them outside for the pose.
But, we are still rather gray and cloud.... oh and HUMID this morning.
But, when you have taken a bowl of Delish Lucy Pack and turned it into a glorious new blanket.
Why wait.... OK, I couldn't wait.... I need to show you what is finally finished.
Not bad for two weeks.
Alright, I know, enough is enough.
But, remember that as I was doing each and everyone of these CIRCLES
I was thinking about you.
All my buddies, pals, friends, amigos, com padres, out there who stop by my garden to visit.
I just don't know what I did before I meet you all.
Know you are the best.
OK, as expected, I'm off and running already on the next IDEA.
But, first I must go get that second cup of JOE.
Because, I need to wake up or I might miss something.
As I was working on this posting, as a matter of fact.
I looked out my office window and look who was visiting in my Zinnia bed.
I need to keep my eyes peels and that
CANON REBEL EOS XSI
handy and ready to go at all times.
Some of you have asked what camera I use.
But, one of the favorite add-ons is that
MACRO LENS.
So what's next you ask.
Well, here is just a taste of the palette.
I will be posting soon what the actual project is.
I'm thinking that maybe, just maybe, Pammy or Dawn might know.
But, first please, please do me and all our friends a little favor.
I am posting this one FLICKR
Click on the link.
Stop by and pick a CIRCLE.
Add a note
In the note, leave your BLOG NAME
I just want to make sure that we all know who and where you are.
Come back often to this CIRCLE of Friends and.... well, make a new friend. Find a new blog to follow
Now, girlfriends no arguing over who gets to be next to who.
Sorry, but I've already picked my favorite and have left an example.
Thanks again all my FRIENDS.
I can't tell you how much you mean to me.
Until next time......

Oh my word! What a beauty! It made me smile because I also teamed my Lucy Pack with white and am so, so delighted with the colour combo. The similarity ends there...your Circle of Friends is a work of art whereas my Ripple is...just a Ripple. Can I ask how many balls of yarn you needed because I keep running out! Lots of love, Amanda xxx

L O V E L Y! I love what white can do to colours. Make them pop out like fire work. Did you seriously make this is 2 weeks? Naaahhhh. I must have misunderstood. That can't be possible. It is fab-fantastic. I am curious about how you have twisted the colours in the border every square distance... How do you do that. Charming!
Wonderful! Beautiful!
It brings sunshine in our hearts.

Would there be any way to share what pattern you used for this square? I am a novice and would love to be able to create something like this one day! What type of yarn is this too? Living in the US...I might not be able to find a pattern of this nature!
This blanket is absolutely gorgeous!! Is there a pattern somewhere? Did I miss it?
