I Ain't No B.S.er - Pattern Reveal

See.....When

EVERYBODY SAYs DON'T
{b.s.}

What do I go and do?  Make a promise.
A promise I SWORE, too up hold.

I am not going to let anything
B.S.
{big storm}
keep me from posting my pattern today.

DON'T RAIN ON MY PARADE
{barbara streisand}

I know, I know, I know....some days I'm just a
FUNNY GIRL
or should I say CRAZY LADY.

I have my cotton yarn all picked out for this one.
I hope you will be able to tell the colors a part.

In fact, sorry about all the color.
The B.S. {big storms} keep me inside.
Did you know I couldn't find a
B.S.
{blank surface}
 in this house to work on.

I"m going to give you the pattern first.
Remember, my WATERMELON or the LUCY BAG
Then I will give you a few picture highlights.

I don't want your mind to go to
 B.S.{brain sludge}
 by looking at too many pictures.
Remember, I'm a lefty, so I work clockwise around.
  Not B.S. {back side}around like you Righties.
Now, you will see what I see

NOTE:  WORKED in TWO Layers
GRID and PETAL

ROW 1
Magic Circle or Ring
3 CH, 9 DC in circle  {10 DC}
Do not fasten off

ROW2
New Color.
2DC in each around {20DC}

ROW 3
Back to First ROW
Working in Front POST
5DC, SLIP, 5DC, SLIP around
5 petals formed, Finish of YELLOW

ROW 4
Third Color Attached.
Increase around  2DC, 1DC, 2DC
{don't fasten off, make big loop}

ROW 5
Back to 2nd COLOR Petals
7DC, Skip 1, Slip 1, 7DC, Skip 1, Slip 1 around
Always end with Slip. Fasten Off.

Row 6
Add new Color
Increase around 2DC, 1DC, 1DC, 2DC
{remember do not fasten off}

Row 7
Back a row to make petals
7DC, Skip 1, Slip 1 around

Continue on going back and forth between the
Grid Row {bottom} and the Petal Row {top}

Here are a few pictures to highlight a few tips and tricks.

Only the first row of petals is 5DCs Skip 1, 5DC, Skip on

The rest of the rows are

7DC, Skip 1, Slip 1, 7DC, Skip 1, Slip 1

Here's an example showing the TEAL row Grid done,
now were are going back to the ORANGE Row and adding in the Petals
on the FP behind the Yellow.
The is a B.S. {bad shot}, the front post are there.

Each V stitch is counted on it's own or as 2 stitches.

You won't have to be a
B.S.
{bright student}
to get into the swing of things.

I also, work the
B.S.
{back side}
as I go along,
matching the colors.

It's a B.S.
{brilliant switch}
move instead of doing the
 B.S. {back side}
later.

So, around and around you go, as many rows as you would like, I did 12.

I did do two extra on the backside to match the front with all the yarn.

Yes, this is surely a way to
B.S.
{bust stash}
Remember the bigger around you go the more yarn you will bust.

Lastly, we are going to slip stitch the two piece together,
with RIGHT SIDE out.
Leaving an opening for your pillow stuffer.

That's right,  those Round Pillow are hard to find
not even the B.S. {big stores} have them.

So, I whipped up my own
About 1 1/2 bigger than the back side.

Remember it's not a B.S. {big sweat} they do not have to be perfect.

There you go.

My B.S. {beautifully sweet} pillow is done.

It's that time again.

I've finally getting close to my

300 POSTING
at 295.

"Only 300", my B.S., {blog sisters} you say......

Yes, my friends, after almost two years that's it.
I'm guessing more than likely it's because most of my posting
are

FULL of B.S.
{big stories}

That's means you only have to live through 5 more of my
 B.S. {boring sagas}
before I announce the winner.

Winner announced at 300.

And in those next  5, I will be revealing
5 more  B.S. {beyond sense}
 things, one in each  that you did not know about me.
5 things that I can say I've done, that I will guess that not a single one of you have.

Can you think of one thing you have done that no one else hasn't.
Think about it? Let me know what it is.

Leave a comment here on this post.
I would love for you to link in to the
B.S. {basically fun} Pattern.
Remember, if you have won something here before you still can will again.

Where am I off to next is the big question?

Not quite sure of the pattern
but it must be
80
something.
Lines, Ripples, Squares, Hex, Circles.
That I do not know yet.

But, it's home is.... known......
out in the
EVERGREEN
{one last b.s.}
mountains of Colorado
for my Dad's
80th birthday.

It's time to
B.S.
{brain storm}

See,   I did it.
I SWEAR on something,
and made a promise about bringing you all something
and
 there was no B.S. {ooops!!!}
 I  delivered.

  But, if I hear one "peeping B.S. snippet" about this pattern not
being the G.B.s....
 will,  SAY-LA-VIE.
Remember, I swore in my G.B. Hat.
So, if it's like one you saw,  G.B. {god bless}

You must know, I'm the first to run from all that
B.S.
{baby stuff}

Weekend Wishes to you All

You totally lost me with this one. My head is swimming. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do. Are we supposed to guess the 5 things you have done that nobody else has, or are we supposed to tell you things we've done that nobody else has? And how will a winnder be chosen by doing either of those things?

I guess I'm a blond instead of a redhead today.

Crazy Lady you are the only one who can be crazy and understandable at the same time!! Anyhow despite all the BS I'm still here and will be waiting for you to reveal these 5 things before yourbig 300th post.
Cheers

OMGosh!! I bounced here from the Flower Bed. I had to see how you made that pattern!! Then I found you are one crazy lady. But hey, I GET you. Maybe because I was born in the stormy, errrr...Windy City and live somewhere east of there now.

Well, I did one thing I KNOW you DIDN'T do. I met my brother when I was 30 years old. See? Toldja!

I don't know what you're giving, or when, but I don't care. Think I'll stick around for a while and check out ago while I'm at it!!

Well, this post is just chock full of b.s. (blog sweetness). I can't wait to try this; I was one of those waiting anxiously for your pattern. I had seen a flower pillow full of b.s. (bright shades) in someone else's blog, but they didn't offer the b.s. (brilliant solution) you have offered for creating something similar! Thank you for your efforts and such a fun post! x&o, Annette

Yep! Crazy! That's you! Who know that BS could be the acronym for so many things. :) Today has been very sad form but your post has made me happy and yet somehow confused through all the tears. :/ Once I finish school, I'm giving all sorts of patterns and projects a try. Best wishes, Tammy

damn, what a crazy post... I think I like it here :)

B.S. sounds good to me, I'm still Miss Barbara L., but I hope someday I'll be Mrs Barbara S. :)

When I asked myself what I've done that nobody else has done, I remembered that last year I cut my NOSE while shaving my LEGS. If there's anybody here who has done the same, please contact me! I have no idea how it happened, so maybe you can tell me ;)

The one thing I always love about visiting you is the B.S. (beautiful songs). Strawberry Fields by the Beatles was on when I came to see you today. That was my departed best friend's fav song. One thing that I've done that no one else has done....gotten a purple lizard eating a B.S. (big strawberry) tattooed under my arm! :oP lol I love the pillow. I want to make one! Thank you for the pattern!!

Ahhhh here it is lol. I would love to enter. 300 posts is quite a lot of posts I'd say. Hmmm... thinking of something I have done that on-one else has done??? I really have no idea. I think i must be the most unoriginal person there is! But if I think of anything I will let you know. x

I can't imagine how to make this! >.<

Hey is there a reason that the flower is made with cotton yarn? Can this be made with Worset weight? Like Caron Simply Soft? I love that yarn.
