Pants are not on Fire

Just so you all know
I'm not a
LIAR LIAR
{christina grimme}
and no

MY PANTs are not on FIRE

Yes, it did actually pick up my hook and get started
on my
SHINING STAR

But, here's the deal.
I would be lying if I said I knew how this was going to turn out tonight

I had most of the bottle of champagne left from NYE

So, I decided what the heck.

Let's just use that instead of water for the Corned Beef

So, tonight, we are having
CHAMPAGNE REUBEN S
bet you won't find that over on Pinterest.
I'll keep you posted.

I don't know what it is about this
FULL MOON
but I sure need to get a full night sleep soon.

But, I'm guessing that is all going to change as we are forecast-ed for our first snow.
No big deal, I mean it's way over due here.
And I for one am ready to see some white.

I can't for the life of me think of that nursery rhyme/song that ends in
......MOON SO BRIGHT?

Our first real snow is supposed to come tomorrow. We have had snow twice so far, but nothing that would stick. I actually love the snow and have been missing it. Hope that corned beef turns out yummy. We had Ruebens last night. Great minds think alike. Lol.

Looks like Pammy Sue got to you.. :-) I love how your star is looking.. I hate to be left out.. maybe I should.. try it?

Can't wait to find out how your corned beef comes out.

You should have zoomed in on that moon!! Been looking at cameras.. at Costco today.. I wanted to just grab the Canon and be done with it, but hubby is a "researcher"- buyer.. gah.. takes forever to come to a decision. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

AWE...looks a bit patriotic, your shining star, I like it! Snow??? You can keep it as long as you want. For me it either means I have to shovel or travel in it, either way I will not be a happy camper. Let us know how that roast turns out. Daughter brought her small crock pot with hot Reuben dip on Sunday, was great with rye bread. That reminds me, I need to get that recipe :)

We've been sweltering in 36-28 degrees C for all of this week. Summer has finally hit us ( and I don't like it a bit ).
I do like your latest blanket though.
Cheers

I turned my computer off early yesterday so I missed this post. Love the look of your RR!

So how did the Champagne Reubens turn out? I'm baking chicken right now..same old recipe I always use and love.

Been super-busy today. Since I didn't get up until 11:30 this morning (insomnia last night...I was right there with you), the day has flown by. Vet with all four dogs for flu shot boosters, bank, cafe for lunch, Walmart... Will be glad to sit on my ass tomorrow and do nothing but maybe some crochet.
