Peek-a-Boo

Peek-a-Boo
{the disciples of soul}

I'm just popping in to say Hi to you.

I have some left-over yarn from my wrist warmers.  So while, I wait for my dyeing yarn to arrive.
I decided to whip up this little bear last night.
Many, many thanks to  By Teresa for sharing this pattern with us.
Pop on over to the link above, as she has her Japanese Flower Shawl on display.

While, I'm not sure of his final resting place,  he is enjoying a bit of the sun that is out today.
Can you believe we will be close to 60 here today.
That my friends is unheard of in February in the Windy City.

I'm guessing someplace down in the sun room or what has become my yarn stash room.

Can you believe it?
I still have one last Christmas Owl to hand out.

You remember where it's going right?
Up the stairs, past bridzilla.

I thinks she will be rather cute.
Plopped right down at the foot of my childhood bed.
We are finally getting together this weekend.

Well, that's it for today.
I'll keep you posted when the dyeing yarn arrives and we can walk through the process together again.
But, for now, I"m off to find a skein and see what other little project I can come up with while I wait.

What's that I hear.......
No, not the door bell, dag-nab-it.
It's time to move the sheets to the dryer.
It's laundry day.

Hi Kate.. OH oh OH.. I love your Teddy Bear!! You always know how to infuse a lot of color and I adore the yarn you used.. what was it? One note.. the ears are supposed to be sewn on the head where the end of the crochet is.. if you do that it makes these neat little shell shapes. But the way you did it is cute too! I can't wait to see your dying tute! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

You see? I totally missed this yesterday! By the time it finally showed up in my sidebar, others had updated and pushed you off the front page to the second so I never even saw it. I see I'm going to have to do the Google Reader thing now.

Your bear is adorable! He will be perfect on that bed. Did you know I started a purple bear about two weeks ago? I got his head and part of his body done before I got bored with it. Ha. I know you're shocked. Maybe I should try a smaller one. Can't wait to see some yarn dyeing pics!
