Well, Well, Well.
The holiday season is upon us.
I wish I could say I had a great year in blogland
you all know that isn't true.
I have had a great year however, overall.
Lots and lots of changes, but for the better I might add.
Here's the update....
Are you ready for this????
So, as of this morning, it's official that I have surpassed my age in weight lost by a good 5 lbs.
I'm giving Jennifer Hudson, Jessica Simpson and Kristie Alley a run for their money.
Amazing that they got paid to do this. And no, I'm not on any of their diets, I'm doing my own thing.
As well, I've now hit 3 months without B.P. meds. In fact, my doc gave me a big hug for the successful changes I've made in 2012. First, follow-up since starting and no, I didn't not drop a 60 lbs bag of rice on her desk, but I wanted to. I've just got to keep on this track.
And most important I'm still beating the cancer sticks. Feb. 2 it will be one year.
Mr. Scott and I are talking about a night in the city to celebrate that and his birthday.
But, the "city".... I am even surprising myself these days.
Living here in Chicago, it has become quite the challenge now to keep up the exercise.
There have been quite few boo-hoo days as the weather has changed and forced me inside.
But, I think Santa is bring me a indoor trainer for my bike.
Low and Behold, I just joined JAZZERCISE, too.
I swear, I never thought...
Well, I swear, I never thought a lot of things this year
But, guess what, I'm here to tell you, it can be done.
Any who... I need to find my jimmies and get out the door.
Class starts at 815 and I like to find my spot in the back of the room.
Let's just say, I haven't quite got all those Jazz steps down, but the key is to keep myself moving.
I look like a fool, but I don't care.
I manage to get wrapped up in some "girl drama" the first week, but I think things are settling back down.
You all know I don't do "girl drama".
So, glad to have taken the moment to pop by and say HI.
I'm still out here and still watching all your blogs, so you had better be good.
I've seen some bickering this week and it just reinforced why I took a break.
Have a safe, happy and Merry Christmas All.
I'm putting on my New Year's list to be better in 2013 for keeping you updated with my journey.
